Our Wild Rice Blend takes the aquatic wild cereal grain and blends it with our gourmet Himalayan red rice and our brown long grain pecan rice to create a blend that is nutty, earthy and vibrant.

Basic Prep
Rinse and combine 1 cup Wild Rice Blend with 2-1/4 cups water and bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until tender, about 40 minutes.
Suggested Uses
Serve with chicken, turkey, venison or pheasant
Toss with steamed vegetables or add to cold salads
Simmer in broth and add dried cranberries for a festive side dish

Our Wild Rice Blend is a gourmet combination that provides ultimate texture, flavor and visual balance. 
Wild Rice itself is not actually rice, but instead a grass seed that is native to aquatic regions. 
Indigenous inhabitants of North America relied heavily on this super grain, even considering its presence to be sacred and a gift. 
When mixed with gourmet red rice and brown long grain pecan rice, this earthy blend takes on a personality of its own, providing ease and balanced flavor and nutrition.
