Our Spinach Flake is made from simply chopped whole fresh spinach leaves and dried to preserve their vibrant green color and mild spinach flavor.
Light to dark green flakes
Roughly 3/8-inch, irregular pieces
Vegetal, slightly bitter spinach flavor
 
Basic Prep
Ready to use. If rehydrating, mix 1 part Spinach Flake to 2 parts water. Simmer over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until desired tenderness is achieved.
 
Suggested Use
Can be used in yeast breads, quick breads or muffins
Combine with herbs or sun-dried tomatoes for a light, savory flavoring for chips and snacks
Rehydrate and mix with sour cream or cream cheese and seasonings for an easy dip
Cook with dried grains or pasta to make a Florentine-style dish
Adds earthy spinach flavor to soups and stews
