Our 21-Bean Blend offers a colorful variety of beans perfect for adding visual appeal, flavor and nutrition to recipes.
  • Easy way to add a variety of colors and textures to recipes like soup, stew and chili
  • Blend includes heritage beans like Anasazi, Black Turtle, Jacob's Cattle (Trout), Tongues of Fire and Yellow Eye Beans among other varieties
 
Basic Prep
Carefully sort beans and rinse thoroughly. Soak overnight in cold water. Rinse and place in a large pot and cover with fresh water. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes, then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 2 hours, until beans are firm to tender. This bean blend produces foam, so skim the water regularly while cooking.
 
Suggested Uses
  • Use in your favorite bean soup recipe to add a variety of colors, flavors and textures
  • Create an eye-catching cold bean salad dressed with olive oil, vinegar and herbs
  • Use as the base for a cassoulet-like savory bean and sausage casserole

    Since our products are food items, all sales are final, and we do not offer refunds or exchanges. In the event that your order does not arrive to your satisfaction, please contact us at:   info@naturesmills.com ith your order number and any additional details and photographs.

    All UPS Order shipments of Nature’s Mills products must be informed of any and all product damages and/or shortages within 3 days of receiving product to receive credit. Please take photos of all damage as reported.

    UPS reserves the right to inspect damaged goods prior to approving claims. Please hold damaged goods for at least 3-5 days after reporting to Nature’s Mills (The KEELEN COMPANY).

    LTL Freight Shipments

    Please inspect your LTL shipments upon receipt. Any missing or damaged product must be listed on the BOL before signing with the driver. This must be reported to Nature’s Mills (The KEELEN COMPANY) immediately but no later than 3 days after receiving merchandise; otherwise credit / replacement will not be given.

    Dry Beans Shelf life

    Our dry bean products have a 36-months shelf life. We do not recommend selling or eating product beyond the products' best-buy sell date (shelf life) for sell or consumption. It may not make you sick.  The product may be stale and lack freshness.
